Performer, teacher, and composer, Zack Kline is comfortable anywhere from toe-tapping fiddle tunes and complex and lyrical chamber music.  In fact, the Minneapolis City Pages says sounds like “Grappelli here, Heifetz there, Vassar Clements over there.”  He performs adventurous instrumental music with the Orange Mighty Trio and his music has been featured in numerous indie films. 

Zack studied classical at Macalester College and also took lessons and workshops with fiddlers including Mark O’Connor, Darol Anger, Richard Greene, Buddy Spicher, and Michael Doucet.  As a teacher himself, he has presented workshops at DePaul, MacPhail Center for Music, North House Folk School and the University of Denver.
